Holiday Gift Drive SPARK JOY BY PROVIDING GIFTS FOR LOCAL FAMILIESHoliday Gift DriveThis year, our Holiday Gift Drive is turning into a festive, in-person Holiday Shop experience for our clients — and you can help us stock the shelves! We’ve curated a Target Registry and a Wish List filled with the most-requested items from past years. Donors can dive in, pick out gifts that fit their budget, and send them straight to us (shipping via the Target registry is preferred!). If you’re shopping locally, you can drop off your items at the One22 office (180 S Willow Street) by Friday, December 5. Prefer to skip the shopping? You can also donate to our Holiday Gift Drive Fund, helping ensure that every family feels the spirit of the season! Target RegistryDonate Frequently Asked Questions HOW ARE FAMILIES CHOSEN? The families who are a part of our Holiday Gift Drive are accessing One22 Resource Center’s services. We also work with other nonprofits in the community who refer their constituents to us for holiday gift support. HOW IS THE HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE DIFFERENT FROM THE SANTA CLAUS FUND? The Santa Claus Fund and One22 Resource Center are separate nonprofit organizations that collaborate to ensure that all families living and working in our community have access to assistance with holiday gifts. The Santa Claus Fund provides gifts for children who live in Teton County, Wyoming. One22’s Holiday Gift Drive provides gifts for children, adults and seniors, including parents of children receiving gifts through The Santa Claus Fund. One22’s Holiday Gift Drive also helps those who work in Teton County, Wyoming but live in neighboring counties. HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK? One22 and our partners support community members facing financial hardship by collecting gifts for our Holiday Shop. You can contribute gifts via two options: Target Registry: Select items from our registry and ship them directly to us (you’ll find that shipping option when you check out). Wish List (Shop Local!): Purchase items from our Wish List and drop them off at our office (180 S Willow Street) between 9 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday, by Friday, December 5. Registered families will visit the Holiday Shop to choose gifts on December 12 and 13, so it’s essential that all donations arrive by Friday, December 5 at 5 pm. HOW MUCH SHOULD I EXPECT TO SPEND ON THE HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE? We recommend donors spend $50 – $150 per gift. SHOULD I WRAP OR LABEL MY GIFTS? We kindly ask that all gifts be unwrapped and unlabeled. This helps us efficiently organize the Holiday Shop and ensures families can select items that best fit their needs. If you’re ordering through Target, please include your name and email so we can send you an acknowledgment for tax purposes. If you’re dropping off gifts at our office, just let our team know your name and contact information when you arrive, and we’ll make sure you receive a tax acknowledgment. WHEN AND WHERE DO I DROP OFF GIFTS? When checking out through Target, you’ll have the option to ship gifts directly to our office — this is our preferred method as it simplifies processing and delivery. If you’d rather shop in person (or the Target order arrived at your house!), you can drop off gifts at One22’s office, located at 180 S Willow Street, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, until December 5. Other drop-off times can be arranged by contacting Libby Gardner at libby@one22jh.org or (307) 739-4500. I EXPECTED TO SEE NECESSITIES, BUT I SEE TOYS AND BRAND-NAME CLOTHING. WHAT DO I MAKE OF THIS? We believe everyone deserves something special, especially during the holidays. This program offers an opportunity for people in difficult circumstances to receive items similar to their peers. I DON’T WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GIFT DRIVE, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A DONATION. CAN I DO THAT? Of course! Click here to make a monetary donation to One22’s Holiday Gift Drive fund. We welcome all types and size of gifts to our Holiday Gift Drive program! ARE THE GIFTS I DONATE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE? One22 Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation (EIN #74-3104462). We encourage you to consult your tax advisor regarding the tax-deductibility of donated gifts, as they are considered in-kind donations.
