Holiday Gift Drive

SPREAD JOY BY PROVIDING GIFTS FOR LOCAL FAMILIES
Holiday Gift Drive

Our Holiday Gift Drive pairs donors with community members who need assistance purchasing holiday gifts and serves nearly 400 individuals every year. We collect holiday wish lists from families in need and compile those onto registries at Amazon and Target.

Donors visit the registries and choose as many items as their budget allows. They either ship the items directly to us (preferred) or deliver the items on our scheduled gift drop-off dates, Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10 from 9 – 6 pm at the One22 office (180 S Willow Street).

Frequently Asked Questions

The families who are a part of our Holiday Gift Drive are accessing One22 Resource Center’s services. We also work with other nonprofits in the community who refer their constituents to us for holiday gift support.

The Santa Claus Fund and One22 Resource Center are separate nonprofit organizations that collaborate to ensure that all families living and working in our community have access to assistance with holiday gifts. The Santa Claus Fund provides gifts for children who live in Teton County, Wyoming. One22’s Holiday Gift Drive provides gifts for children, adults and seniors, including parents of children receiving gifts through The Santa Claus Fund. One22’s Holiday Gift Drive also helps those who work in Teton County, Wyoming but live in neighboring counties.

One22 and our partners have collected holiday wish lists from community members experiencing financial hardship. We have compiled their requests on two registries – Amazon and Target. Donors will visit the Amazon and Target registries, choose as many items as their budget allows, and either ship the items directly to us (you’ll find that shipping option when you check out) or deliver the items to our office at 180 S Willow Street on December 9 or 10. We will wrap all the gifts during two fun and festive volunteer wrap parties December 12 and 13, 12 – 3 pm, at our office. Please join us! Families and nonprofit partners will pick up the gifts the week of December 16.

We don’t want budget limitations to prevent any community member from contributing to the Holiday Gift Drive, so we’ve ensured the wish lists include items with a wide range of prices. You’ll find plenty of options under $50. If you can afford to give a little more, feel free to choose as many items from the Amazon or Target wish lists as your budget allows. Every donation helps!

This year we are asking you to send all gifts unwrapped and there is no need to label them. When you place your Amazon or Target order, please include a gift receipt with your name and email so we can send an acknowledgement that you can use for tax deductions. We will wrap all gifts during two fun and festive volunteer wrap parties December 12 and 13, 12 – 3 pm, at our office – 180 S Willow Street. Please join us!

When you check out at Amazon or Target, you can choose to ship gifts directly to our offices (this is preferred). You can also drop off gifts at One22’s office –  180 S Willow Street, at the corner of Willow and Simpson – Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10, 9 am – 6 pm. Other drop off times can be arranged by contacting Cindy Bartz at cindybartz@one22jh.org or (310) 595-4282.

We believe everyone deserves something special, especially during the holidays. This program offers an opportunity for people in difficult circumstances to receive items similar to their peers.
