Federal Worker Support Support for Federal WorkersOne22 is here to serve our neighbors both in times of everyday need and during unexpected crises. In continued response to the October 2025 federal government shutdown, we’re offering a second round of relief stipends to federal workers—whether furloughed or facing paused paychecks—to help cover essential costs like gas and groceries. In addition, federal workers may apply for one-time emergency financial assistance for more extensive needs such as rent or child care. If you are a federal employee residing and/or working in Teton County, Wyoming, and your paycheck has been affected by the government shutdown, we encourage you to apply now. Frequently Asked Questions WHO IS ELIGIBLE? The goal of One22’s Relief for Federal Workers program is to provide relief to federal employees who live or work in Teton County, Wyoming, who have been affected by the October 2025 federal government shutdown. As of October 29, 2025, this program can provide: Quick relief in the form of a $250 gift card for gas/groceries One-time emergency financial assistance for more substantial needs, such as rent or child care Eligible individuals for relief stipends are those who: Reside and/or work in Teton County, Wyoming. Work full-time for a federal institution (i.e. National Park Service, Bridger-Teton/Caribou-Targhee National Forest, National Fish Hatchery, National Elk Refuge, Transportation Security Administration or other federal entities). Both furloughed and exempt staff who are currently working without pay are eligible. Eligible individuals for emergency financial assistance are those who: Reside and/or work in Teton County, Wyoming. Work full-time for a federal institution (i.e. National Park Service, Bridger-Teton/Caribou-Targhee National Forest, National Fish Hatchery, National Elk Refuge, Transportation Security Administration or other federal entities). Have household income at or below 120% Median Family Income for county of residence. Are not eligible to receive unemployment benefits during the government shutdown. Please note: if you received a stipend during the first round of this program (October 10 – October 28), you may apply for a second stipend. Additionally, those who have already received stipends may apply for emergency financial assistance. Emergency financial assistance is not available for mortgage payments. HOW DO I APPLY? To apply for a relief stipend, follow these steps: Fill out a Relief for Federal Workers Stipend application online. If you need assistance with completing the application form, please call us at (307) 739-4500. Prepare necessary documents. As part of the application, you will need to upload: Proof of employment (most recent paystub or employee badge) Proof of residency (copy of your lease, mortgage bill or property tax receipt, utility bill, paycheck stub, phone, internet or cable bill, vehicle registration) To apply for emergency financial assistance, follow these steps: Fill out a Relief for Federal Workers Emergency Assistance application online. If you need assistance with completing the application form, please call us at (307) 739-4500. Prepare necessary documents. As part of the application, you will be asked for: Proof of employment (most recent pay stub or employee badge) Proof of household income for the last 60 days Proof of residency (copy of your lease, mortgage bill or property tax receipt, utility bill, paycheck stub, phone, internet or cable bill, vehicle registration) WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION? Applications for the second round of this program are open from Wednesday, October 29, and will remain open through Friday, November 14 or until the federal government reopens, whichever comes first. MY PARTNER AND I BOTH WORK FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. HOW DO WE APPLY? Stipends through our Relief for Federal Workers program are intended to provide support per individual. If a household has more than one adult member employed through the federal government, each individual may apply (i.e., a household with two adults who work for the national park would be eligible for two stipends, totaling $500 in gift cards). Emergency Financial Assistance through this program is available per household. In the example above, the household would only apply for emergency financial assistance one time. I RECEIVED A STIPEND DURING THE FIRST ROUND. CAN I APPLY AGAIN? Yes! If you received a stipend between October 10 and 28, during our first round of support, you are eligible to apply again. Our second round of stipend support began on October 29 and will be open until November 14 or until the government reopens, whichever comes first. WHEN AND WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY SUPPORT? Our team is working as quickly as possible to process relief applications. We will text or email you to let you know if you have been approved and with further pick-up instructions. Gift card pick-up will take place at One22’s main office at 180 S Willow Street in Jackson. WILL I BE REQUIRED TO REPAY THIS ASSISTANCE IF/WHEN MY COMPENSATION IS REINSTATED? No. Assistance from our stipends and/or financial assistance are provided without any expectation of repayment. IF I’VE RECEIVED PREVIOUS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM ONE22, MAY I APPLY? Yes, we understand that this request is unrelated to previous assistance requests. CAN ONE22 PROVIDE ME WITH ANY OTHER SUPPORT? Yes, other resources from One22 may be available.
