Slow Food Fresh, Local Food for Our Entire CommunitySupporting local producers and expanding access through the Jackson Cupboard Through a partnership between One22 Resource Center and Slow Food in the Tetons, fresh, locally sourced food is reaching more households across Teton County, while strengthening our regional food system. Make A Gift Grow Connect Purchase Share A grant-funded start fuels the need for community supportIn 2025, One22 and Slow Food in the Tetons were awarded a Wyoming Food Access and Systems Grant, supported by the Wyoming Department of Family Services and Food Works Group. This funding allowed us to bring new inventory to the Jackson Cupboard: fresh, locally grown produce, meat and more, sourced directly from local farmers and ranchers. With grant funds fully expended, we have the opportunity to sustain this work with support from members of our community. We have an ongoing commitment to this initiative because of the multi-faceted impact it makes in our community. For Jackson Cupboard shoppers, it means access to fresh, high-quality food. For local producers, it means a reliable community partner. At the Linn Ranch we think it’s worth doing despite those challenges because we believe local food is better for people and the planet. But those difficulties do mean we have to charge more for our produce than many members of our community can afford. So we jumped at the chance to participate in this grant program and get our mixed greens, head lettuce and spinach onto the plates of folks who aren’t shopping at the farmer’s market. Getting paid in advance allowed us to plant beds specifically for One22, and gave us a much-needed revenue boost for our season.
