Host a Food Drive HOST A FOOD DRIVEHow it WorksThank you for your interest in hosting a food drive for the Jackson Cupboard! Food drives are an effective way to rally your friends, family and colleagues to make a collective impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity. Whether it’s at your workplace, school or community organization, hosting a food drive allows you to directly contribute to our efforts in providing groceries to individuals and families in need. Hosting a food drive is as easy as one, two, three – so let’s get started! STEP ONESTEP TWOSTEP THREE 1Pick your food drive focus Download our Food Drive Wish List and pick your food drive focus. We encourage folks to keep it simple by focusing on just one or two items for their food drive. By focusing on just one or two items, it saves resources on our end and makes it possible for us to add your donations to our pantry almost immediately. Additionally, it allows for us to receive items that our pantry needs the most and that are difficult for us to source. 2Register your food drive! Click here to register your drive online and select a proposed drop off date. By registering your food drive and letting us know what item(s) you will focus on, you help us plan for incoming items. 3The Finish Line Once your drive is complete, email us at jacksoncupboard@one22jh.org to confirm a time to drop off your donations at the Jackson Cupboard. Please do not show up at the Jackson Cupboard without coordinating beforehand. Scheduling a time for drop off ensures we are open and have team members ready to take your items.
