Host a Food Drive

HOST A FOOD DRIVE
Join our “Stock It Up” Food Drive

One22 Resource Center invites you to Stock It Up this fall by hosting a food drive to help fill pantry shelves at the Jackson Cupboard. Rally your friends, family and colleagues to make a collective impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity in our community.

Our Stock It Up Food Drive also features an exciting challenge – a goal of reaching 15,000 pounds of donated items during this campaign! Thanks to a generous donor, food drive donations will be matched $1 for every 1 pound from now through the end of December. The Stock It Up Challenge can provide One22 and the Jackson Cupboard with an additional $15,000 if we meet our goal.

Taking part in this special campaign is as easy as one, two, three – so let’s get started!

  • STEP THREE

1

Pick your food drive focus

Download our “Stock It Up” checklist and pick your food drive focus

A campaign with a singular focus, “Stock It Up” encourages folks to keep it simple by focusing on just one or two items for their food drive.

By focusing on just one or two items for your food drive, it saves resources on our end and makes it possible for us to add your donations to our pantry almost immediately. Additionally, it allows for us to receive items that our pantry needs the most and that are difficult for us to source.

2

Register your food drive & Stock It Up!

Click here to register your drive online. To help you make the most of your event, be sure to download our Stock It Up Media kits in English and Spanish.

By registering your food drive and letting us know what item(s) you will focus on, you help us plan for incoming items.

The Finish Line

Once your drive is complete, email Ash Hermanowski at ash@one22jh.org to confirm a time to drop off your donations at the Jackson Cupboard.

Please do not show up at the Jackson Cupboard without coordinating beforehand. Scheduling a time for drop off ensures we are open and have team members ready to take your items.
